It is the consumer’s responsibility to understand what they are ordering when using the online system. Dogberry Collections has provided many online photo resources and descriptions to help you during your order. Please read these descriptions carefully. Production & Shipping Lead Times
Please be advised that all doors are handcrafted and manufactured to order. Lead times may vary and are only estimates. If a door and hardware are ordered at the same time, the door and hardware will ship together on the same date. In this circumstance customers should base their estimated lead time off of the door’s production time and not the hardware’s production time.

Door manufacturing is estimated at:
Standard Doors: 2-3 weeks
Custom Doors: Design & drawing process varies by project. After approval by customer, typical lead time is 3-5 weeks.
If you are not satisfied with this lead time, please call us to discuss options for expedited lead times. For custom door sizes and styles, longer lead times may apply. For questions call Dogberry Collections at 888-801-3393.
If you require a production and/or shipping method other than standard production and standard ground shipping service, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt your order invoice to request expedited production and/or shipping options which may be available for an additional fee. We will do everything in our power to meet your expedited needs but please be aware that expedited production and shipping are not always available and are not guaranteed. Please call us to discuss options for expedited services offered by Dogberry Collections at 888-801-3393.
Please do not arrange for an install until you have received all correct items from your order. Dogberry Collections will not be responsible for any contractor expenses and/or other fees incurred outside of your transaction with Dogberry Collections.
Ground shipments (smaller items) will typically take 3-5 business days in transit. Orders that have to go Freight will typically take 5-10 business days in transit, and will be delivered curbside. In some cases where the box is too large to be unloaded using the lift gate on the back of the truck, the customer will need to pick the order up at the local HUB. It is the consumer’s responsibility to arrange for delivery beyond the curb or to pick up at the local HUB.
We will not be responsible to replace or refund any incorrect order which has been transported away from the original drop off location of the original shipping company.
Please do not schedule the installation for your door until it has arrived. If your door is shipped via freight, the freight company will contact you for a delivery time.
Make sure your shipment includes installation assembly instructions. If not, please call 888-801-3393 and our customer service team will email or send you a copy of the instructions.
Please provide a physical address to ship your order to be delivered to. If you need to change this address once the order has been placed, please contact us prior to your order shipping and we will gladly update your shipping address. If you contact us once your order has left our facility to request a different shipping address, we will do what we can to ensure this change is made but cannot guarantee delivery to that address. There is a Re-Route Fee for this and it will increase the shipping time so please try and make sure that we have the correct shipping address prior to your order leaving our facility.
Orders cannot be placed on hold. If you are not going to be available to receive your order you can call us prior to it leaving and provide us with an alternative address to ship it to. You may call once it has left our facility and re-route it to an alternative address, please be aware that there is a charge to re-route your shipment. Orders that have not been confirmed for shipping within 1 week of the agreed upon date will be charged a fee of 20%.
Please note that all sales orders placed will have until the close of the following business day to be cancelled with no cancellation fee. This must be done over the phone by the person that placed the order (no other form of communication will be accepted). All orders cancelled after the following business day are subject to 20% cancellation fee.
Changes to Orders
All changes that need to be made to an existing order need to be made before the end of the next business day after placing the order, this must be done over the phone by the person that placed the order (no other form of communication will be accepted). All Changes made to an order after the next business day following placing the order will incur a 20% Change Order Fee. Please understand that these custom made products often begin to be manufactured the day following order placement and can result in wasted product when changes are submitted.
If you feel your Dogberry product has a manufacturing defect, you may be eligible for a return or exchange. In order to begin the process of a refund/exchange based on a manufacturing defect customer must provide a photo of the defect. If the defect is indeed deemed a manufacturing defect, Dogberry will cover the cost of shipping to return/exchange the product and will refund the customer once tracking shows the product in transit. Customers have up to 2 weeks after arrival to report manufacturing defects and qualify for refunds and exchanges provided by Dogberry.
*Note - "Manufacturing Defects" are defined as any product that fails to operate as advertised and is not reasonably comparable, aesthetically, to the design advertised on the Dogberry website. Because Dogberry utilizes world class materials, our products are indeed made from real wood. Therefore, it is expected that there will be natural variances between the products shown in our imagery including slight differences in the shades of finishes, knot patterns, and grain patterns. Because these things are considered natural variances, Dogberry will not issue refunds or returns for buyers remorse based on these characteristics.
To return or exchange a product that was damaged during shipping the customer must provide a photo to Dogberry of the damage along with images of the damaged packaging materials as well. After shipping damage is confirmed by Dogberry, the company will cover the return/replacement and shipping costs and will issue a refund on the product if the customer doesn't want to do an exchange once tracking shows that the product is in transit. Customers have up to 2 weeks after arrival to report shipping damage and qualify for refunds and exchanges provided by Dogberry.
Customer Remorse - Returns and Exchanges.
In the event that the customer doesn't like the product that they have ordered from Dogberry, the customer will have up to 30 days to request a refund and exchange. Customers will cover the return/exchange shipping costs to and from Dogberry to receive a full refund or exchange. Please note that the product must arrive at Dogberry in resellable condition to qualify for a full refund or exchange. Once products have arrived and Dogberry has confirmed they are in resellable condition the company will issue the refund or exchange after that time.
Therefore, it is advised that the customer open the packaging carefully in order to re-use it in the event of a return. It is also advised that the customer purchase shipping insurance when paying to ship products back to Dogberry to ensure, If products are damaged during transit, they are protected.
In the event that your specific product is no longer available, Dogberry Collections reserves the right to substitute the part with a comparable product in quality, style and color.
Approval of Custom Doors
All custom doors will require the customer’s approval. Dogberry Collections will send a photo of the finished door prior to shipping. Once the door has been approved and received, no returns will be allowed. Dogberry Collections will not be responsible for an order shipping later than the agreed terms due customer not approving of the provided photos in a timely manner.
Door Finishes and Wood Texture
Just as our name indicates, Dogberry Collections specializes in rustic design and styles in our hardware and doors. Most of our doors are made from Knotty Alder and are not finished to a smooth paint grade. It is normal to have large knots in the wood that give it character and a rustic look. If you need a smooth paint finish please be sure to order a paint grade finish by calling Dogberry Collections at 888-801-3393 for help placing your order.
Standard kit doors are shipped unassembled and unfinished. If you are assembling your door yourself, ensure you have Assembly/Installation Instructions before you begin assembly. If instructions are not included, please call customer service at 888-801-3393 and we will send you a copy of the instructions. If you would like your door assembled or finished by Dogberry Collections, please include these options with your order for an extra fee. All door kits are assembled to verify that they fit properly before they are shipped and then are disassembled for shipping. To prevent possible warping, we recommend having your door finished, shipped, and assembled by Dogberry Collections. Limited Lifetime Warranty
All products come with a limited lifetime warranty that covers the functionality of our products. This warranty does not cover finishes, cosmetic discoloration, knot holes or wood imperfections, damage, improper installation or normal wear. We will replace any part that fails to function properly with the return of the failed product.
All doors, headers and tables that are finished and/or assembled by Dogberry Collections come with a 60-day warranty against warping. Warping is defined as doors that are out of alignment of more than 1/4″.
Unfinished doors, headers, and tables do not have a warranty against warping because of changes in climate that can allow the door to absorb moisture during transit (causing the door to warp). Incorrect finishing of a door can also cause warping which is why we highly encourage our customers to allow us to finish and ship their door finished.

Please read the following policy to understand how we will treat your personal data after it has been collected by us through your use of this website. We can collect data on you from a variety of different sources which includes:

These terms and conditions together with any documents expressly referred to in them, contain the entire Agreement between us relating to the subject matter covered and supersede any previous Agreements, arrangements, undertakings or proposals, written or oral: between us in relation to such matters. No oral explanation or oral information given by any party shall alter the interpretation of these terms and conditions. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, you have not relied on any representation other than those expressly stated in these terms and conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any misrepresentation which has not been made expressly in this Agreement.
