The Dogberry Collections Fluted Mantel is a solid American West poplar fireplace mantel shelf with full-face vertical fluting — available in 48″, 60″, and 72″ widths in Natural or Chestnut finish, at 5.5″ tall × 6.25″ deep. The vertical groove pattern adds architectural texture and visual depth to any fireplace wall.
Fluted columns are one of architecture's oldest decorating tricks — vertical grooves draw the eye upward and add depth to flat surfaces. The Dogberry Collections Fluted Mantel brings that classical detail to your fireplace in poplar wood, with clean vertical fluting across the entire face. The result sits somewhere between contemporary and transitional: bold enough to anchor a modern room, refined enough to complement traditional millwork. Available in two curated tones that complement the fluted texture best.
